Puzzle Piece is an object added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• When used, completes 1/3 of a "puzzle fortune".
• If the fortune is fully completed by finding three puzzle pieces, a reward is spawned.
  • The prize spawned is related to the fortune created, and is unique to the combination of lines.

Notes

• The puzzle fortunes are unique fortunes only created from Puzzle Pieces, and are not found from Fortune Telling Machines or Fortune Worm.
• The chance for a Puzzle Piece to appear increases the more the puzzle fortune is completed — after the first piece is used, the chance for random cards, runes or objects to be replaced with a Puzzle Piece is 40%, and after the second piece is used, this chance increases to 85%.
  • Jigsaw Puzzle Box further increases this chance, with a +20% chance after the first piece and +5% chance after the second piece, for every Trinket Multiplier affecting it.
